
The BC CDC says there was possible COVID-19 exposure on another flight into Kamloops after someone onboard tested positive for the virus.
Passengers who were on WestJet flight 3241 from Calgary on Dec. 11 are being asked to monitor for symptoms and get tested for COVID-19 if symptoms like a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or a loss of sense of taste or smell begin to develop.
It is unclear when this person tested positive for COVID-19, though people who were in rows 8 to 14 may be at a higher risk of infection.

This is the seventh flight with an exposure since Sept. 16, and eighth overall. Five of the flights with exposures have been WestJet flights from Calgary, two were Air Canada flights from Vancouver, while the other – reported three days ago – was an Air Canada flight to Vancouver.
British Columbians have been told to avoid non-essential travel and social gatherings with people outside of their household over the holiday season after restrictions were put in place on Nov. 19.
